How to change BT mail password

To change the password of BT mail Following steps should be followed:-

If your BT Mail email is your BT ID username, then you always log into your email with your BT ID. To change the password for your BT Email ID, log into My Profile then select Edit which is available in next to 'Password' in the 'My login details' section. And in case if your BT Mail email is not your BT ID username, then go to change your email password visit the email management page and change your password by selecting the option next to the email address.

• First enter your email address and current password
• To change the password of any of your BT email accounts, we need the name of the BT email account that you want to change and the current password of that account.
• Now pick a new password for your BT mail
• Always select a new password not the older one
• Pick a password that you can memorize easily, but should not be assumed. If possible write it down, keep it somewhere secure. Your password should be

•  Between 8 to 16 characters long
• There should always be a combination of letters and at least 1 digit but should not include any punctuation or spaces between it

The password you entered is a case sensitive.

Prevent using your name or company name as a password.

Anyone who can assume your password will be able to read and delete your incoming email and can misuse it.
